Dipla Nina was born in Thessaloniki. From 1980 to 1985 she was a member of the Greek national team of rhythmic gymnastics. At the age of 15, she began ballet at  Thessaloniki with Daniel Lommel then joined with a « Special scholarship »  from Mme Hightower the International Dance Center Rosella Hightower in Cannes school. At 17, she signed her first contract with the National Theatre of Thessaloniki. At 1989 also with a scholarship she  went to study at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, where she will graduate in 1993. She becames member of the Folkwang Tanz Studio (FTS) and work, among others, for Pina Bausch, with whom she dances The Rite of Spring. Since 1999, she collaborates as interpreter and choreographer  with various choreographers, composers and directors. She was an assistant at Tanz Wuppertaler Theater (Pina Bausch) for the resumption of Tannhäuser.

Nina lives  at present in Paris. She obtained  her Diploma of State of  pedagogy and intervenes in ERAC (Drama School of Cannes) as a dance teacher. She also teaches at the CND of Paris and Lyon, in CNSMDC Lyon, at  La Menagerie de Verre Dance Studio, Studio Kelemenis, the company Philippe Saire (Geneva) , to the Choreographique Center of Grenoble J.C. Galotta, to the Choreographic Center of Tours,  the  Choreographic Center of Orléans Josef Nadj and proposes workshops abroad . In 2006, she collaborated with the director Maria Giparaki for opera Ariadni of Naxos, presented at the Festival of Patras (Greece). The same year, she worked with the director Anne Alvaro for Esprit – Madeleine, at the Théâtre de Chaillot and Troilus and Cressida, played at the House of Maria Casares in Alloue, and CDD, in Montreuil (2007). In 2007, she collaborated with the director Jean-Pierre Vincent, for a Oresteia, presented at Théâtre Aquarium (Cartoucherie, Paris). In 2007-2008, after attending the Art Laboratory Colina, the need to continue working on the creation is evident.

In creation, Gravity duo will be in residence at Marseille (the theater Bernardine), the Choreographic Centre of Orléans (Joseph Nadj) at Dance City (New Kassel), Portugal (Rui Horta). In 2007 -2008, she collaborated with the director Claudia Stravinsky  Jeux Doubles, presented at Théâtre des Célestins (Lyon) and La boîte à Zouzous concert with the Orchestre National de Lyon. She was invited as a choreographer and  teacher at the Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Montpellier, under the direction of Ariel Garzia Valdés. She was also in collaboration with Ateliers de Paris – Carolyn Carlson in May 2008 ( proposing the choreographic workshop  Afdas with Josef Nadj). In 2010/2011 Nina Dipla is creating a « Hommage to Pina Bausch » with a new solo, An Invisible Attraction, and Kyma, a piece for seven dancers. For the seasons  2011/2012 and 2012/2013  Nina Dipla is guest choreographer at the School of CCN Roubaix (Carolyn Carlson) for  the creation Fragilities with 15 dancers. At the same time, she is guest choreographer in Brescia (Italy) to create Approaches  a piece for 20 dancers (June 2013).

For her solo Rosa, Nina Dipla has obtains a support  to  creation and ra esidency at NCC Orleans (Josef Nadj). Since 2013 she collaborates with Theater Aktion ANTAGON Germany for the creation of  Faust as choreographer. In 2015 Nina Dipla presents the solo VA in Asia as well as the beginning of the international project “7 steps of life” Let’s Dance For Peace. From 2016 until  present Nina she  is in collaboration for  the “7 Steps of Life” Let’s Dance for Peace  project with Theater X in Tokyo, Van Body, Wan Sha Theater in Tainan, Cloud Gate Company space  in Taipei, Aether Theater and Art Foundation Cugna Macau.

Nina Dipla is regularly invited France (CND, various NCC) and abroad (Canada, Greece, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, England, Serbia, Slovakia, Italy, Cyprus, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Sweden, Hong Kong and Macau) as choreographer and teacher.
